My dad, Mr Bert Nixon, worked at Essendon Airport as a Transport Officer from 1946 until he passed away in February 1973.

I still have an old 1964 diary in which he wrote the shifts for all of the bus drivers, however I have been using it to paste recipes in since 1968! There are still lots of pages not used by me however where his original writing still exists.
