My father worked for Ansett for 26 years, first at Essendon Airport and then Tullamarine. I now work there myself at Coles Essendon Fields.
We spent a lot of time at the Airport as kids and I especially loved the Christmas parties that the Ansett team put on. Every year Santa would arrive in a helicopter!
One particular Christmas party my brother ended up pushing Reg Ansett’s son into a pond. My dad thought he would be fired!
